Water temp was anywhere from 52-59 today. Was warmer up in rock creek area. Fish were still scattered 7-11'. Nothing really to write home about. Was nice to be on a lake glass smooth the majority of the day for a change!

Overall it was a great day to fish, like DrNip said, water was smooth and I enjoyed every moment on Toon's dock. I didn't really enjoy him catching all the fish again, but other than that.........it was great, lol. I want to thank Steve for inviting me to fish on his dock, it may be the single best dock on Lake Eufaula for crappie fishing.

Stink, glad you could join me for a great afternoon of fishing. I appreciate you being there to help put my fish in the basket when I caught 2 nice keepers at the same time on crappie rig also when I tangled my line around the twinkle lights hanging on the dock when I lost that nice one just as he got to the surface.

I need to verify my scale - I agree with you that big one I caught sure looked bigger than just 1.24 lb. Always a great day to swap stories with a friend while fishing for crappie. I'll see you next weekend.

I was able to get out yesterday and fish for a few hours in the evening. The fish are starting to turn it on the water temps are starting to climb in the 60's. We ended up finding some on the bank 1.5ft deep with a jig and cork. I love to see that cork go under! The water on the south end was murky but clean, people were starting to catch some on the the bank as well. It should be great today and tomorrow. I will be posting reports. Our biggest yesterday was 1.68. EB

CrowderCrappie and I stopped by Eufaula Sunday afternoon on the way home from the Spring Camp. Fished the Blocker bridge area for about two hours. Kept eight nice slabs. water temp around 62.

A friend said they were in 2 fow at Rock Creek, using a small bobber and jig set at 1.5 feet. He said it's already getting crowded.

Allen and I threw a bobber couple times last Sunday. No luck yet.

That whole area was pretty crowded. Was still room for more. More crowded than what I'm use too.

Ive got some old tricks Im going to try that I use to do years ago. Got a report that a good friend of mine had a 2.53 Sunday said he lost one over 3 at the top of the water. Said the fish avoided the net like a pro. EB
