Started shallow, wasn't good enough so tried deeper. Fished 15- 25 deep in 20 to 35 FOW. Bigger fish were deeper. Had females spilling eggs and dark males caught from standing timber 18 feet deep in 35 FOW. So what do we know ? Kept 18 good fish.

Fishers manhandled the dead sea!!! I love catching them in 40 ft of water when everyone else is on the banks
Dead sea? LOL Back at it again for a half day today. Did find some fish acting in a more normal spawning pattern. Was able to catch half the big ones in 12-15 FOW. Still lots of fish deep. Yesterday and today I used Franks jigs deep and shallow, Mo magic in hot pink/chart yellow and his new black/pink (thanks for the Blk/pnk baits Frank, they work great!) And used minnows in the shallower stuff on a slip bober 10-15 feet deep. Most of the big fish preferred the jigs, I would pick up big fish on jigs fished right next to the minnows. I think the bright colors bother them. Stopped keeping at 30 fish- freezer now full

TC I do not think I have laughed that hard in a LONG time. I am sponsoring the Tenkiller tournament. Those participating will get a 4 pack of different styles color coded for Tenkiller. EYES will be on those baits! I am leaving for an Anniversary Cruise Tomorrow pulling out of Galveston Saturday afternoon. I return April 28. I will be laughing every time I think of your statement above!.

I'm looking to fish keystone this coming weekend with the kids. We fish from a boat and are catch and release only. Would love to catch some crappies and catfish but we have never fished keystone before so if anyone could help us out with good areas to fish I would be grateful.
I had an uncle that used to fish up there allot and he always swore the manford area was the big cat honey hole but hes passed on now so I don't know exactly where. I'm open about anywhere up there so long as the fishing good.
