I will check out the Halo Magic.
saw some gals catching crappie in the southern most boat house in Newberry yesterday. I tried my slip but there is no brush that I can find. No crappie either.

Pumpkin seed has been a good color for me, on the north end of the lake. Red and chartreuse also produces well.

Recently? Bobby and I have fished Butcherpen and Kansas Creek the past two days without much luck. Curious if you are catching any up on the north end?

Does anyone fish the ponds on the refuge.....just curious to see how low they are

Fishokla okie Bob and I drove through the other day they are all full. Plan on fishing lost lake and bell creek in a week or two just to many places that I want to hit first

Yea sonny that's a bad problem to have lol...have had real good luck on all of them but was all low a couple years ago..

Yep, one heck of a problem. So many places to fish, so little time! Don't ya just hate livin around here? Don't know if I can stand it much longer!

Okie Bob,I fished the docks last week and caught 7 in about an hour and a half. They ran between 12" and 14" and full of eggs. They quit biting as fast as they started. I tried it the next day and couldn't interest them. We were using minnows. Talked to others that caught some last week and they hadn't caught any on jigs, just minnows. I've heard some were being caught at the north dike. I doubt you can get a boat there, but I haven't been there in a couple of yrs.
