    • Pool elevation is 645.36 feet on Saturday 30May15 Time: 0500 hours
    • This is a new record high level for Lake Texoma. The lake continues to rise but, should crest in the next few days.

We are expecting more heavy rain today and to say the ground is saturated would be a huge understatement. The good news is there is no more rain in the near time forecast!! In fact, we have sunshine for Sunday through next weekend.
The road closures would be a long list and getting longer by the day. I went to Bridgeview Marina yesterday. It is closed and the entire point where it used to be is under water and water is rising on the steps to the new store at the top of the hill. Many trailer houses are submerged, their septic system is flooded and it is no longer safe to even go look.
I haven't found anywhere on the lake you could launch a boat. Everything is closed and all ramps are underwater now. It's getting more and more difficult to even get around the lake. If you have plans for Texoma, check before you go, they are likely cancelled. Best guess is that nothing on the lake will be open for at least a month, possibly at all this summer.
Some good news, all the other lakes appear to be full and the rain is coming to an end. Doesn't mean they are open, just that I only know that Lake Arbuckle was closed and don't know if it still is.
I'm hearing all kinds of horror stories but, not verified.

For example, the north dyke broke and the 'oil oil field' is flooded and all well shut down. Presumably this will change the course of the Wa****a River into Lake Texoma.
And oil spill on the Red River between I-35 and Hwy 81
The reason hwy 199 is closed is due to the new bridge opened just last year......
and others about flooding in and around Texoma.....

I'd go 377 south across the Willis Bridge to TxHwy 82 and east to Sherman//Denison.
Otherwise you'd have to backtrack towards Mannsville then north to Tish and around.

As far as I know, there are no ramps open on Texoma. Doubt there will be for several weeks, at least. All are still under several feet of water at this point.
    But, I could be wrong.
