That last one made me wish I had a batterie in the scale.
Good stuff. I'll be down there Sunday or Monday. Hopefully they play nice with me.

Nice job Fishers, you might want to change your screen name to Mr Sardis!! Do you remember the water temp?

Still the most versatile guy out there Fishers! You always find the big girls on every lake. If I knew how I would start a " Go Fund Me" account to finance a digital scale and a yardstick for your boat. Until then I will just assume that you have at least average size man hands and those are way above average fish......again! Way to go!
Those are big fish ciller. That one by the buoy is right around two pounds. My biggest crappie to date came from nearly the same spot last year. I did have batteries then, she weighed 2.42 pounds. Its been good down there since before I went to Colorado, I cant seem to fish anywhere else, and I need to get over to Gibson and do some pre fishing before the tourney! Redge water temp was around 80-83 depending on where you were at. The thermocline was from 18 to 10 feet depending on where you were at. In some places it was not there at all. That first big cool front 3 weeks ago on Friday knocked out the thermocline, since that time it has been reestablishing itself due to the warm weather. I have been finding the big fish on structure along the breaks where the thermocline is just below the lip along the break. I think this pattern I have been on will be gone for the year after this weekend, its supposed to be lows in the mid 50's and highs in the mid 70's. That will wipe out the thermocline and the big ones will spread out and be all over the place like the dinks.
Even I can catch fish at Sardis LOl. Ciller, as you can see the scales have batts again! Water is cooling, started at 70 ended at 74. No Thermo. Big fish are spreading out off the edges and into the flats making them more challenging to find. Dink to decent ratio was poor until I found the piles and stumps areas the big fish were preferring. Caught prolly 10 over 1.25 and 3 from 1.5 to 1.8 LBS. What you see in the pics is what I was using.

Wow, I bet the Mississippi boys are there today.
I'm planning a trip to Sardis next week Fishers- thanks for the motivation! I will leave batteries under the big rock so this doesn't happen again.
