Sounds like a fun weekend CK! Im still fishing south end and they must be a little behind. I caught 8 nice ones last night, but nothing on the bank.
Still out in 10 fow. Maybe this evening..
Fished this weekend on a friends dock in Elk River.
Saturday I fished from around 8 am until about noon. Caught lots of crappie about 15 foot deep in about 20 fow. They wanted the jig moving. Came back Saturday evening and just killed the crappie from 6 pm until I left at around 10 pm on the bank.
Sunday I fished from 6am up to about noon and caught males on the banks and females were staged off the bank in about 10 - 12 fow. I fished without a bobber, if I didn't get bit on the bank I just kept it slow and would usually get slammed by a female before I got it to the dock.

Did better last night. 15 or so in a couple hours. Would've been more if my junk Okuma didn't break in half.... Note to anyone, never buy an Okuma Avenger series. I've bought 3 and broken 3 all in the same place when the stem snaps in half when setting the hook.

Well, its been a while since anyone updated Grand. I know they are all out fishin.
Its been on and off for me. Ive caught good females out 12fow and then some up shallow in the evenings. Last night i decided to try it after dark, since it had been tough this weekend during the day.
Glad i did. Caught a limit of black males between 8 and 930pm crusing the banks. I think i should have been fishing at night all weekend!
Grandgpaw - what part of lake you talking about? My bro in law lives at Disney, so we normally fish lower end. Heard anything from down there? Hoping to get up there Saturday if it's not 10' high and risin'!
I'm mid lake. But from what I've heard, it's on all over the lake.
You picked a good weekend!
