Really put a hurt on the crappie Sunday. Water temp was 40.5, fish were in 25 fow suspended about 4 to 10 feet. Had our limit in about 30 minutes but fished for about 4 hours, probably 200+ fish caught. Had an absolute blast.Name: IMG_1067.jpg

In response to some of the posts above. All of my fish were caught on a monkey milk baby shad Bobby Garland with a pink 1/8 ounce head. Once we found the fish we just made long casts and immediately started reeling in, maybe letting it sink to a three count before reeling if anything.
It was quite the day, my thumbs feel like sand paper. Another thing that made the trip exciting was since the fish were posted up so shallow, you could actually see many of them come up and grab your jig if you were close enough to the boat on your retrieve.
This has easily been my best winter for crappie and a lot of it I have to give credit to my electronics. Its amazing what I have never known what was there until now.

Another great day on Grand. Today this was a special day, my little boy who is two and a half went with me and we had a blast. Pictures to follow soon.
