Start looking in the mouths of coves that you have caught them spawning in. They are starting to stage for prespawn.
I am taking the wife and kids out on Grand tomorrow. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can get my kids into some fish?

Anyone have a recent temp reading on the lake? Bass nuts own it this weekend but not for long!
Been doing some fishing down around the Bernice bridge and Indian Hills Marina catching lots of fish.
Fish at the pay dock at Indian hills have been biting pretty good, catching mine on monkey milk Bobby Garlands fishing about 2 feet off the bottom from 10 to 18 fow.
Fishing the bridge from my boat I've been catching the fish at about 12-15 feet deep in 15 to 20 fow. The crappie have been absolutely hammering the jigs, been having a blast catching some nice fish.

St. Patty's was kind to me yesterday. Caught a dozen in a couple hours at a friend's dock. The Gobstopper jig strikes again!

Caught a few in the dock yesterday evening. Fish were pretty tight lipped but turned on at around 1830, then shut off at 1930. Just the nature of the beast I guess.
fished off some docks on monkey Island this weekend caught 10 - 11 to 14 inch crappie. All were females but eggs looks like grits and weren't developed yet. caught all on Blue and white and purple and chartreuse tubes. Dead sticking it in 10 to 14 FOW
Caught 15 yesterday afternoon/evening in the same range as above. Had a few up higher in the water column but not a real pattern. Bite was lighter than I expected. Used purple/chart, orange/chart, Gobstopper, and minnows.
