Thread: Grand lake archives

Had the opportunity to head up to Grand and fish with Jeff Williams the owner of Outdoor Brandz and Fle Fly Tackle. We fished up the Neosho and Spring Rivers. Neosho River is still pretty off colored but managed to catch a few out of wood in 18'. Spring was clear with 3' visibility which was awesome. We really got on some good fish in the 1.75 lb range and lots of them. Found them not really relating to wood but crushing right on the channel break in 17'-19' range and suspended at 3' off the bottom. Also caught several off the edge in deeper water suspended at the same depth. We were fishing the gogo minnows in 2 1-2" length and they were hammering them.........Ranger

Great report Mark, I'm glad you got into em! But why does it have to be 2 hours away? Why does all the great fishing have to be exactly 2 hours away from me? Is there some law of physics I am not aware of?

Fishers, I understand and have witnessed the 2 hour phenomenon also!! Nice job Ranger.
