Ledge, I had to go purchase a real fish this time ............. I was hungry and needed one for the fish fry. I left it in the my bucket for a little while to get that rubber smell out.

Very nice, anybody that fishes wister have any tips for fishing the lake? I have access to a cabin on the north side of the lake near Victor but know nothing about the lake other than a few duck hunts. should I stick to the north side or is there better fishing on the south or one of the rivers. Anything is appreciated. I'm a north eufaula fisherman but would be willing to pay for a guided trip to learn Wister

Well My older brothers birthday was April 4 so he wanted to go spider rigging at Wister and catch a 2lb fish. Let me tell you that we did much better than that. We kept 38 with 17 over 1.50 and 4 fish over 2.00lbs. The biggest was 2.29lbs we were spider rigging jigs right through the stump rows off the river channels. We were fishing bobby Garland slab slayers and mikes custom baits. Here are some pics. EB
