Fished blackwell today for a couple hours. Spent some time learning the boat too. Found fish in 13-15 of water. Wt was 68-69. Baits of choice were MoGlow Slab Slayers and 1/8 ounce jig heads. Left with 31. Have to say..I LOVE the Ranger.

i was at the enclosed dock for four hours this morning and only caught seven total .
only three were big enough to keep. still better than work!

Jeff...not sure if you fish blackwell alot. If not, dont get discouraged because of yesterdays results. That fish house will be on fire some days while the rest of the lake is dead. I have been out there so many times and can limit out on 12" fish in under 2 hours. If your from the area, message me a number and I will be happy to take you out sometime.

im from oklahoma city . i have fished the dock 10 or 11 times in the past year .
more good trips than bad . its only an hour drive from my place .
its the closest lake to me that i have caught good numbers of quality crappie . thanks for the offer . i have been thinking about getting a boat just the learning curve reading the depth finder and finding the crappie. only been fishing out of a boat a few times in the past without much success .
