    Really nice, Tim.
Ledge has taken a lot of young people with health problems out fishing, but we haven't seen any posts from him recently.
One of my brothers in Montana is always taking kids out for trips to mountain lakes. Mostly they go on horseback, but sometimes on Razrs. One of his favorite trips was years ago when he took an eastern kid with cancer on a Make-A-Wish trip. The kid had a blast, but the Make-A-Wish people were not horse people and were pretty sore after the ride.
Putting a smile on someone's face is the best part of a fishing trip. Thank you for being a smile producer.

Lake is in great shape. Crappie bite is getting better every day. Fish are moving to there summer patterns. White bass and catfishing is great also. With the lake falling and water getting out of the flooded trees, shad are much easier to get. Water temp ranging from 72 to 79 deg from clear to stained. More ramps open now.

Hey Tim -- new to summer crappie fishing. Just curious what you're looking for and how you're fishing the crappie in the summer. Are you looking for brush, what depth are you targeting, etc?

You can usually find fish in the areas you caught them in during the winter. Look for brush structure along drop offs and ledges along the channels. Fish will move up and down in the water column so watch your electronics. Having baitfish close by is a benefit to. Not unusual to catch crappie in coves early and late in the day that holds baitfish. I have done best covering a lot of water whether spider rigging jigs tipped with shiners or trolling crankbaits. If you can get on the right spot, single poling can be good. Once you find them they are usually pretty aggressive in the summer. Good luck
