Some of our rain gauges up here got around 4 inches overnight and that's what we saw before leaving for work this morning. Wichita, ks
Thanks for the info. Knew you got hammered up there. Water temp yesterday dropped from the mid to upper 50's down to the low to mid 50's. Full moon is April 11th so spawn should be close to that date if we don't flood. The catfishing will be unbelievable between now and then with the new inflow. Crappie will be good in a few days.

Lived in Oklahoma all my life (except for the 4 years off on a boat in the middle east). What the heck is a Saugeye?

Hybrid cross of a sauger and a walleye.
Just looked it up on the ODW site. I've never seen that fish in Oklahoma waters. Do you catch it like bass gishin?

Bottom bouncers with night crawlers and shiners, trolling crankbaits and grubs. They are a lot more aggressive than walleye

Gonna have to try that someday

Inflow as of today on Kaw is at 25,000 cf. Supposed to peak tonight around 31,000 cf. Projected lake level is 1017.00 by Saturday. Level is 1012.00 now and rising about 2 inches per hour. 1017.00 is okay. Fishing will be good.
