I'm wondering if a lot of fish went through the dam this year during the high water?

And last year as well. Crappie fishing in Keystone has picked up the last couple of years. LOL.

Blackdog 40 (Bill) this is how we add tickler blades to the jigs. This is on a loop. Works the same without a loop just slide a blade on the line before tying on jighead with the blade cup down toward the jig. Size depends on water clarity. Good luck

Netcraft or Luresonline has what you need in willow blades. Size 1 or 2 should do what you need.

Zeiners here in Wichita carries about any size blade or shape you would want. That where I get all my blades and clevises for making Road runners from. Super nice guy owns it and they have them online.

Here's how I do it. Never thought about putting it within the loop.

I use Bobby garland slab ticklers. They come in packages of 25 in pink, chart, silver and gold in 2 sizes. Just make sure cup is toward the jig or it won't flutter on the drop. You can get them for around 5.00 @ bass pro or Academy.
