Went today. Water temp was 49 and up to 50 in a couple places. Caught 3 in 12 foot of water right on the bottom then the wind came up and I couldn't find my way out of it no matter where I went.
That is tough Achiro! I think you might be on to something Fishers, think it will be warm by about the 4th of July ar ar.

I dont think its going to be in for a quick warm up. Check this forecast out: Wednesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 54.
Wednesday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 33.
Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 57.
Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 37.
Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 61.
Friday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 43.
Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 69.
I went Saturday Water temp at washuga was 54 in morning to 57 by later afternoon. When the wind came up, I went for a boat ride to Bear creek. The creek was 60-64. The crappie all had their tuxedos on. I did not catch much, neither did anyone else. each person had 5-10 fish. looked to be all males. I stopped and fished another favorite sandy beach area on the main lake, 8 FOW, 57 temp. What part of the lake where you in Achiro?
North of washunga bridge. I never found anything over 50 and I was there in the afternoon. As sunny as it was on Sat, it doesn't surprise me that the temp got up. they're sure not fishing like 60 degree temps though. All that said, it won't keep me home this weekend.
