I just hate motorin up on guys that I think I might know but might not? Know what I mean? Yesterday was a scouting trip as I nor Nip had ever got a boat wet on Kaw. Marked several places and did some fishing. Caught a couple sandies but got skunked on slabs. Still, it was a great day with a buddy and got to get out. Next time if you see us stop off and I'll do the same. This time a year it's just us fools out there anyway!😊

Will do. Dstreet is hard to miss. Just look for the little Asian guy wearing a pink unitard in the big Blue Wave. That's him.

Good post CP. And I don't know how many times the fair weather fishermen have called us fools. Just fish Hefner from a float tube this time of year and you'll hear fool, idiot, dummy, stupid, etc. coming from the cars that are driving by. But winter is a GREAT time to be fishing, whether it's through the ice in Montana for trout, 'eyes, pike, jumbos, or burbot or in a boat or off a dock in Oklahoma for crappie or cats. The best part may be that there are no jet skis, boom boxes, or crazy drunks, just us "fools".

Sure wish I would have hollered at you Jeff. Dstreet told us that was you. Hope you get the trolling motor issue solved, that is frustrating. We got on the lake around 130 and caught them pretty good late. We ended with 32 nice fish and left them biting to get WSD home before midnight, LOL!!! The boys at the fire station are cooking the fillets right now. Same pattern for us, and no BIG fish just nice 11-13 inchers. We are going back the 10th, may stay the night and fish the 11th also. We will let you know.

Sounds good! Dang firemen can put the hurt on fried crappie. You have to get WSD back to Poteau before midnight because it's a long ways or does he turn into a pumpkin? Me and Dstreet gonna fish tomorrow and we'll give you a report.

I'll get this hunting season over before long, and I'll be a regular on kaw again.
