Mr. Shad. Those are beauties! How long are they or what do they weigh? I can't get away from work right now and I need details. I gotta feed off of your success. How deep? Thanks for going to the trouble to post pictures. That does help my crappie jones a little bit.

Fished the upper end today unloading at Rocky Point and fishing all the way up to 412 HWY trying to get out of the wind. That was impossible to do. Ended up with 15 Black Crappie and never put a single white in the LW. Fish came from the the channel breaks on the shallow side in 7' to 12' DOW. Baits today were babys shads on blue thunder and slab bandits on black shad color. Talked to several fisherman today and they were having a tough time finding any crappie to catch, stating that they had been catching them until today when the wind switched to the south and blowing hard. Fish are certainly scattered and I didn't catch more than 2 keepers from a single spot and most of my spots that had produced didn't produce a single fish today. Water Temps were 79 degrees all day....Ranger
