George or someone else could you explain the 300 flw boats? I'm assuming this is the inflow numbers and current flow that is going on with the damn.

Well, I had big plans for this weekend. I was planning on getting out to 14 mile creek and scope out the area with electronics find the fish chasing the bait being pushed by the wind. Well that didn't pan out. The wind made me think twice about that plan. The other thing that got me was you don't go looking for fish when you are catching fish. The lake shot up, it was 7 ft above when it was 4-5 last weekend but the dock was still producing fish like it did last weekend, actually it was better this weekend. I was fishing minnows in 10' of water catching them anywhere from 9' to 2', one of the highlights of the day for me was I was reeling up my minnow to see if it was gone and then saw a nice crappie chase it like a bass in about 1' foot of water. He missed it on the first try and then went back to cover, I quickly put my minnow back in the water and got to see him slam it, pretty awesome to see the action about 12" crappie too.
All in all we head 20 keepers in the basket and one bonus catch 3 pound catfish. Hard to fight the wind when you have beers, OU game and shelter, oh and crappie on the line.

Tough weekend at Gibson, got five keepers at the but the bite was really slow. The water was up even higher and all the fish are all over the place they were not in the brush. Ran into a friend who just hit the banks and was getting some nice slabs.
