14 Mile Creek runs from 35' at the mouth up the channel til you get up above the State Park campgrounds on the west bank. As you get up towards Wildwood Camping area you get on top of a flat which runs around 12' to 14' DOW. You will find several areas which are pretty shallow up that far but now with normal levels you will be ok. As far as stumps not many. The east end of the creek you will run into a willow area out in the water but I never fish up that far.

Where is the best boat ramp/dock to launch at on south/west area of Ft. Gibson? Hopefully out of the south wind since it never seams to stop blowing.

Fished the South end today and had 28 keeper crappie and 7 throwbacks. 23 blacks and 5 whites. Color of choice today was fire house shad Slab Bandits, albino shad Bass Assassin's, red/chart super tubes..Water temp got up to 71 in the afternoon and was 68 when I unloaded after the rain storm. Fish caught in 8' to 16' of water and on wood. Those blacks were beautiful all dressed up in the suits today. Water color is alil off colored but no current......Ranger

Clint I also fished 14 and the main lake points and rock piles. Not all the wood had fish in them and even the really shallow wood I thought would be loaded didn't have any fish in em. The best pile I had I only caught 5 out of. A lot of 1's and 2's and sometimes a 3 would come out of wood but sometimes a 0 too. Had to fish alot of stuff to pick up what I had. One thing that was different for me was I didn't have that many dinks..1 other thing is by the time I got to Jackson most everything had been fished I guess cause I never caught a fish in there. I cleaned my fish in Jackson and left from there. The females sure was loaded with eggs on the south end though so maybe it will last a few more weeks......Ranger

I use to use Toppers ramp quite a bit when the South wind blew. Either that or I would go up to Maize.
