    coves along the golf course, jackson bay area, mallard bay area, 14 mile creek area on the backside of the lodge has all been good and will continue to be unless we get flooded again..if so i think they will either spew their eggs or will absorb them..

    Was wondering if anyone knew how high Gibson is and if and where would be a good spot to get into so fish this weekend!

    As of 9am the lake was 17.6 feet and rising. It rose 5 tenths from 530am till 9 am. As for fishing its anyones guess right now. They are supposee to start letting out over 75000 cft some time today. My buddy was camp below the dam yesterday and they made everyone move out. The park is going to be flooded today.

    Ok thanks so the fishing ain't gonna be worth a dang this weekend never fails finally get a weekend off and it's either raining windy or flooded.

    Kaw lake has a good reputation, and it is stable. keystone is not as good but stable also.

    Now is a good time to fish flooded timber for channel cats they love the stuff. Sandies are running on the lake but good luck with all the boat traffic.i think im goig to set on the river bank and drown a shad or two

    I just usually try to avoid public waters on holiday weekends in the summer.
