Went yesterday fished from just south of jackson up into the river,, caught fish from 6'-18' fow wood and rock ledges and some laydowns ,standing timber,, most were caught in JD creek and clear creek off the trees with a 2" pump/chrt beavertail,, the ledge and wood fish on RR head with wht/chrt 2" beavertail and various BG's and blk/chrt tube ended up with my limit with about 4-5 going 15-16" the rest were 11-12" ,,just had to cover alot of water to do it ,,and just for the record Ranger i ended up in SHALLOW water AGAIN i guess you are just gonna have to show me the way through there one day cause i would be in the channel one minute and out the next.....all in all a decent day to be on the water

Holiday is the East side of the lake- North of Taylor Ferry Beach. Its the first real cove on the east bank with Docks in it.

Like I told Ranger earlier this week, if the raise the water all, all bets are off and Saturday will be a long day.....

Yep you are correct. I meant Hickory. Those docks in the front hold some fish- sometimes it feels like 'paradise' when the fish and biting and the turkeys are gobbling in there during the early spring. Hickory is correct-

Heres a report from a few of my friends. Catching a limit of 15 nice crappie without having to measure everyday before noon. Fish seem to be hitting the summer time pattern alil early and are on shallow chunk rock points, shallow chunk rock humps, and in 6' to 12' woodpiles. Said alot of baits are working and there isn't a color prefered over another as of now. They are cast and dragging and making contact with the rocks and wood to get a reaction strike. They both did say smaller the better though.....Ranger
