You should be able to limit our early. Get on the water at sunrise, and off by 1000, unless you don't mind the waves!
Ranger09 is very familiar with this lake. Marks crappie guide service.
Eufaula Boy is another good one.
Do you have a SI fish finder?

Barnacle Bills is under new ownership? I've not been there in probably 2 years but stopped by today. Nice enough people but one major problem. They didn't retain the guy who made the salsa!! Holy crap. I need an all points bulliten for this cook. Where did he go to? I have to get my fix of that stuff during the summer time. My version of crack! Anyone that can help me out?

Flint ridge grocery opens at 6? Go across 82 bridge S. towards vian or chicken creek. Cross the bridge, road bends to right, store at bottom of turn on the right.

Bck on tenkiller today. Needed a break from getting skunked at wister. The slabs are big this year. Only brought a few home for dinner but they were all nice ones. No dinks at all. But I spent the first three hours trying to get my structure scan working. So fished from 9:30 to 11 only. Was surprised to catch anything.

Now for the fish story. Hooked a monster fish that just peeled drag non stop for maybe 50+ feet. I never even got to turn the reel. Just set the hook and it took off until the line broke. I'm guessing catfish and that sand paper mouth just ripped up the 6' line. But for a good minute I was having fun. Turned off anchor mode and speed after the fish even but no luck. Time to reline with braided lol.

Fish were in brush for me. Piles at the 20' mark and they were in the 10-15' range. Just kind of right on top. My sonar image really didn't show them so just basing off how much line I had out. Vertical jigging. Dragging the piles didn't net me anything.

Hot color was electric chicked in bobby garland. Never tried that one before today but it worked.
