Fellas don't overlook the campground areas around the lake that's underwater for channel cat. Areas that have been mowed will bring in hundreds of them. That's where the worms will be they are feeding on. Don't need a boat just a lawn chair and a bucket of worms. The best way to have more fun is on a slipcork.

I'm guessing at least a month. Little Sizemore probably best bet. Snake has a high water ramp, I think.

Well, I think I'll just run back to the trailer tomorrow and retrieve my boat. That way I can fish some of the lakes around here till Summer Crappie Camp. I have a funeral to go to in the morning but could get down there and back by about dark. I need to be back there for Decoration Sunday at the family church/cemetery on the 21st. I can either take the boat back then or after the Eufaula camp. At least I can fish closer to here for awhile.

Still 14 feet high but at least it's coming down. I'm going to the RV this morning for Decoration Sunday but not gonna drag the boat. Maybe next time.

X2! Yes on the going down bit. If we don't get a bunch of rain Friday/ Saturday, may be getting close to fishing again .

Well, of course it did go back up. Looks like they are working on it so the 4th of July won't be a wash out (pun intended) like Memorial Day was. Look forward to spending a week there at that time.

    Woo Hoo!
Just over 5 ft high this morning. May hit it Saturday to see if I can still see what it looks like. Certainly will after the Geezer camp at Pine Creek.

I am renting a cabin near petit bay area going down for a few days anyone have any suggestions or tips. I am seriously considering guided trip. Have never fished this lake any thoughts would be helpful. I havent been doing very good lately at blue creek on the big O which is closest to my place.
