Just had my appendix taken out so, looks like I'll be confined to dock fishing for a week or two. Just my luck, I think it's about to really turn on too.

    Slabs,

Just remember your pillow. My first visit to the bathroom after the speech by the nurse about taking the pillow everywhere I went and hold it tight to my side getting up or down, I decided I was tough enough to not need a pillow. Sitting down was easy, getting up I thought everything was coming out. I was standing letting the pain subside, and standing in the door way was the nurse. She says "Forgot your pillow." "Yea." "Bet you don't do it again." And she headed on down the hall. She was right!

I'm glad I caught it early, mine wasn't ruptured yet. As soon as I started hurting I did some google research and thought I better get it checked out. Thanks Guys

Get well soon slabs, looks like you were smarter than me an kd. I laid in bed for 3 or 4 days before I gave up and went to the hospital. Mine ruptured when they took it out. It took me over a month to get back to normal. Kd's right, getting out of bed was terrible, I tried every way imaginable and it was really painful no matter what I did. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Anyone been fishing Tenkiller? I've got tomorrow off, so my buddy and I were thinking of coming to T'killer to fish the Caney Marina (we don't have a boat). Anyone been doing any good? Love to hear a report before we make the drive from Owasso. Thanks!
