    Way back in the day, I had a trailer at Elk Creek Landing and fished for sand bass. Don't recall ever catching a crappie and honestly didn't know there were any in the lake! Obviously, I didn't know what I was doing or thinking. I do love that lake and hope to haul my boat up there sometime soon. Well, 'soon' is relative! Just sayin it's on my bucket list! Maybe when I get up there you pros can throw me a bone how to fish that clear water!

    Took City Man fishing yesterday am. A beautiful day on the water!! As Ranger said 8-12 was the magic depth. Had my limit by 10. Water temp got to 70 before we left but it is headed in the right direction. Water was in perfect condition after the rise.
