Caught them on jigs. Various colors. Black chartreuse 3" bobby garlands did well. Picked up the gold flake/pearl tail minnow minder and it's done well a couple times. I think that's the right name. It's the one with the split tail. There were a couple other colors too not too picky after we got them going. Fished from daylight until they stopped biting or moved at abt 10. We had it all to ourselves this morning. Didn't see another boat.

I bet you had it to yourselves.

We pretty much had Kaw to ourselves except one other boat we saw once. We only sand bass. Winds were terrible. 1st time on the lake for both of us. Our main mission for the trip was to learn the layout of the lake and scout some spots for the the tournament Allen and Reaper are fishing in January.

Got an Elite 7 for X-Mas. This should hopefully change my fishing game for the better. Need to construct some aluminum mounts and get things installed. Hopefully I'll slay some at the bird in January.

Nip contact Wayne Inman (Easy View Mount) he makes a telescoping holder for the Elite 7. Check out the link!

Wow that's a mount in a half!!! Too much I think for my operation. I have to spend that much on the transducer mount as I do not want it on the trolling motor. Was thinking of welding a 4-6" aluminum riser on my boat and then purchasing a Ram Mount for the finder.

I did not know if that would work. Sure would bring it closer to you , however it is not cheap on price. It looks like it is really built well.

Redge has one and I know where he fishes!😝 looks like a dad gum satellite station. I bet we could pick up the OSU Games from the bow of his boat!
