DrNip are you shooting under the dock or just in the slips? I love shooting under docks but I didn't think any of the marinas had large enough gaps under them. when they first built that covered fishing dock at little axe and the park was closed for renovations I would shoot under it in the small gaps and just wore out the crappie for a few months during the summer but once it was open to the public I haven't gone back cuz there is always someone on it. there is nothing like shooting a jig all the way under a dock and not even feeling the bite, just seeing the line jump, and then working the fish out. so much fun

I was shooting anywhere I could get my jig. Mostly between the boats and the dock and all the way to the inside of the dock under the lip, towards the bow of the boats. I would let the jig fall for a bit and then gradually reel it back. I would either get a thump immediately or on the reel back. I wasn't there that long but next time I go back I will be there 1st thing.

I've shot the Little Axe dock too but you have to get there early on a Wednesday or else it is crowded!

Here is a pic of the 1st one I got off the marina.

Talking to the "regulars" at Little River Marina the last couple of days, the only dock producing any fish to speak of is the outer most dock. I know I haven't had a nibble in my slip since before last weeks temperature roller coaster.

I did not know that could be done, and can't seem to figure out how. Care to share ?

I tried to go back to April of 07 when it was about 2 ft lower than 11 but of course, no picture for that time.
