Hey they put a dock all the way out to he tree I usually boat up to at the end of peebly near the boat ramp. Pulled allot of crappie off those trees and stumps that are around that dock for years now. shoot wouldn't have to take the boat out as much now lol. you can stand on the dock and cast to them easily. they also put up some rock dikes around the boat ramp to help with the wind when loading the boat, its looking like they are trying to do some improvements out there.

boy...I sure hope that dock is not by the trees I think they are...that would truely stink....those trees have been a sure thing for me since 1987.....kinda gonna be hard to put my boat right next to someone sitting on the dock...that would be great for those with no boat....but, I don't think I have ever fished thunderbird from the bank.

was going through old pics.....it was just about this time last year when I was catching around 200 fish a trip.....all thunderbird dinks of course...lol...but that will sure get you in the mood to get on to eufaula to catch some real fish!

I was upset to see that dock there too grubby. They put it in late this past summer. For about a month when they first had it up the park was still closed so it got no pressure and the new shade had em stacked up in there. I would actually shoot a jig under the dock and catch decent sized fish all day. Then once the park opened and people started fishing on it I have stayed away

Hey y'all, Im new to the site and to crappie fishing. Im thinking of going out to Thunderbird today and looking around. Were would be a good place to launch? Im in seminole, so I will be coming in from the east on hwy 9.

Welcome Daniel, I know this is a bit late for Saturdays launch! but I usually launch there at the State park ramp which is Clear Bay I believe.

Not to late. I chickened out and went to Wetumka anyways. I hate going to new lakes because I always come back empty handed. Especially on a big lake, lol. I might give it a try next time.
