Not yet. I've been out there maybe 8 times anywhere from 1-3 hours each time in the last 2 months. 6 of those times were breaking in the motor and getting used too only a 600 lb flat bottom jon. Quite the learning curve I tell you especially in these Oklahoma winds we had going on for awhile. The last two times out I was started to fish. The last time out was after that huge thunderstorm and I was deep in the timber trying to find where the creek bed runs through it. I know there has too be some good crappie off in there as it looks prime time. I'm going to keep at it and will report back when I crack the code out there.

I live just north of Harrah a few miles and fish Wes Watkins some. I havent had much luck this year, been out there only a couple of times. If you look at Google Earth you can pull up the history and see where the creeks are before the lake was built. I created the images using paths under Google earth to get an idea of where the channels are, I then uploaded them to my HB unit. I also marked some old road beds and some ponds.

Stop it.
Now after having a little fun out of NIP,went to T-BIRD yesterday morning and bass fished with my son,not really what I wanted to fish for but I did.We caught a few bass and started seeing sand bass surfacing so we started following them and caught several sandies. If you like catching sandies surfacing now is the time to go after them. One really good thing we noticed looking in the water there are millions of small shad about an inch long every where you go,my son said it looked like glitter under the water.the sandies were feeding on them hard and heavy about mid lake.I went and bass fished the crappie hole I found about two weeks ago and the graph was covered up with fish at 12 fow.Going to go this week and crappie fish and hopefully can give you some info on that!
I did get a chance to make it out the last two days !! It appears that the best bites are early in the morning till about 9am, they just slow way down and the size goes down. I'm still catching plenty of crappie deep suspended in approximately 12 to 17 feet the bigger ones are far in between, But they are there !

Hey SNAYLOR,glad to see you back fishing t-bird.I found a spot on west end of lake holding some fish in a log jam,12 fow looks like a great place to sink some brush in and around the jam.I am going to try get out between the rains coming in,maybe Friday morning early before I go.I will look for you next time out.
