I'm halfway kidding. It's all about what u have confidence in. I usually stick with jigs on thunderbird due to all the dinks. I can't rationalize spending money on bait to catch mostly throw backs. And I usually use a bigger jig to target the larger fish. To each his own I guess

sorry cant help you with any recent reports. boat49 went a couple weeks ago and did pretty good if you see his post a few pages back. i will be headed out there tomorrow as well. probably run jugs and crappie fish till it gets too hot. then maybe take a swim and enjoy a few cold ones. if you see a lowe deep vee with walk through wind shield that is grey with blue accents then thats me. stop by and say hey. hope everyone has a great and safe 4th of july.

Wish I could be out there with you guys but it's been way to hot and I've had grandpa duties with our 4 grandkids. I can't wait to get back out there and catch some crappie and hopefully a few catfish. Let us know how you guys do. If you ever see this boat stop and say hi.

Went out this morning from about 0430 to 0900. Didn't do any good but I'm like rednecksooner in that I only use big jigs to avoid the dinks. Saw a guy catching some of them. Nice morning to be on the lake, tho'

fished friday. ran jugs and drifted for cats. only 2 channels on jugs and no takers while drifting. had a few pole shakers but nothing when lifted out of the holder. went back out on sunday but just played around. along with everyone else.

well instead of going to Wes Watkins tomorrow morning think I'll just stick to T-bird I made up some jugs for cat fish I'll take some pics and post them tomorrow think I'll take a few out in the morning and drop them In the morning before my youngest brother set out after some crappie tomorrow morning should be out there about day break or I'll be in a bass tracker PT 170 TX it'll be me and my brother we will probaly be around the dam area
