When I was at Tbird last saturday there were a few guys catching them off the rocks around the fishermans point area and a few were being caught of the peir too. I have guys wading out on the point between fishermans point and the tower. And also around the sailboat marina area if it's open now.

The spawn is on!!!!!!!!!!!!!!....went today and fish are in anywhere between 2 and 3 feet on the bank...caught easily over one hundred....cleaned 40 that were in the 12 inch area....only one had eggs......the best bet by bank today was the hog creek boat ramp....catching every throw on jigs and minnows with a cork fishing around 3 feet down....limits were being caught by 9am.....but remember the boats pretty much have the right away, so be sure to yield to loading and unloading boats on the ramp and dock....good luck!!!!

Man, that is awesome! You reckon that they are spawning at Eufaula too? Supposed to go up there today to see family and take them fishing. I am no crappie fisherman, been fishing about a dozen times the past few weeks and caught one crappie at Thunderbird. Hit Eufaula a few days ago with the same results. I guess Im not holding my mouth right or something. Today Im going to be launching around Duchess Creek. Anyone have any advice for that area?

WOW! That is awesome. I went to the little river and the twin bridges last night at T-Bird, and I only managed one sand bass. I fished for about three hours in one to three feet of water, and I couldn't find a crappie.

Went out from about 10 till noon. Brought back 23, all males cept one. They were mostly 10-12" with one 13.5". All hit hard on a black/pink yum or pink/yellow slabbandit on 1/16 oz Crappie Pro or Mushroom jig head fished 'float and fly' method about 18" under the float. They came out of 3-5' water. A beach area near Hog Creek.

fishing is still fantastic....fished today catching over 100 again..fishing from boat in 4 feet of water, throwing around brush and stick ups....kept around 50 for dinner....very nice males around 11 -12 inches....started catching more females today with eggs.....quite a few little throw backs stuffed with eggs.....hog creek ramp was slower this morning....fish being caught...but as you can imagine the word is out....with around 25 people fishing the ramp this morning....red, chartreuse, and white colored tube jigs seem to do best....they are being wishy washy on the minnows...they hit like crazy then nothing....then all the sudden hit minnows and not jigs.....looks like they may be moved off with the weather tomorrow though....good luck!!!
