Its about that time. hoping the warm weather this week will get some moving in shallow this weekend. anyone been trying recently?
I was out last night with a friend , we, tried the dam (didn't walk down very far) and tried one of the docks. Caught 4 crappie and a bass. Can't wait for this to turn on, been trying every few nights.
maybe someone here knows. when I was out at thunderbird last weekend I was just cruising the lake and noticed that over by the marina there were dozens and dozens of man mad crappie structures sitting on the bank right where alameda dead ends into the lake. also noticed they built a new covered dock there. anyone know when or where they will be dropping those things? maybe at existing fishing buoys? or only at docks? I halfway thought about beaching the boat and loading up a few and giving them a hand with putting them out but I refrained.
Hey Slab hunters. I moved from NE OK to the OKC area, sold my boat and had a knee replacement. So, can anyone give me a tip on a bank fishing spot or 2 to try at T-bird? And can anyone give me a report from Sat-Sunday on success and what depth to try. Thanks.
Anybody been on the bird? Has the bite started to heat up? BTW r7hunter, I'll PM you with a bank spot that's been good for me in the past.
Was out there last Sunday. Warmest I saw was 58 and then I got white capped off the lake when the winds switched out of the north. I didn't make it to the north side of the twin bridges. Sure the water was warmer over there.
Hey wc. Thank you very much. I can do some walking. I use aerial photos online and "scout" as much as I can. It will probably be mid-week before I try the spot but I will post a report. The new "spot" will not be revealed.
