Default East Fork Goldmine with Black/Chartreuse Jigs

I'll be up for the 2nd time this year Monday morning. What do you East Fork Die hards think of this combo? My buddy fished the lake last Wednsday and this was his best color. He said the goldmine was too muddy due to the wind that day. He beat the bank where the boat rowing dock is.

Thanks for the info. I won't be coming up now as I just got off the phone with my partner. He is standing in Chicago's O'haire airport waiting on a flight to New Jersey. He had to go back to work a couple days early. Much rather be crappie fishing. I guess I'll just go down here in the river feeder creeks and see what I can find.
