I've never fallen out of a boat and say all the time that I never will, but something like this happens every now and then and proves it can happen to anybody at any time. My wife nags me about wearing my life vest every time she sees it hanging in the garage when I'm on the lake. It's the last thing on my mind. I'm a strong swimmer and like I said, I've never fell overboard. But I'll be wearing mine next few times out. I wish I could garuntee it after that, but we all know how that goes. I just pray I never have to learn the hard way. He and his family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
