    Default Larry and Starvin

I couldn't get down the hills by the dam. I don't have my truck today and the wife's minivan is a sled on the snow. I could see the cove to the right of the ramp, the one that goes back behind Sherrys paylake and it is clear. I would assume that means the ramp and some of the lake are too, but I won't guaruntee it. Of course, as I write this you guys are probably out there sorelipping a hundred or so more crappie. There were some tire tracks heading down the hill. Probably yours.
I did see a duck hunter pulling his boat down that way Friday morning on my way to work, and passed him again on 222 on my way home that evening. His boat was dripping, so he got on the lake. A little hope anyway.

Hard to believe there is any open water.

I went to Indian lake saturday and went ice fishing. We caught a few gills but no saugeyes. We were hoping to get a few eyes on the evening bite, but it never really developed. There were maybe 30 or so guys fishing and only a few guys catching anything. I only had one hit on a vibee and my partner only had one hit on a swidish pimple. I may go again this weekend or go hunting or something.

It was fun to be out but I'm ready for the ice to melt.
