    Default Style for summer

What style of fishing is working best for this time of year? I've been getting a few just drowning minnows near downed trees, but it's not been to consistent.

Default Trolling or Deep Water Jigging

Learn trolling - the only way to catch crappie all year round. Lots of videos and articles out there. Cabelas and Bass Pro sites have articles on their web sites. Another way is to find brush that is 10 - 18 foot deep and vertical jig it, just takes a lot of patience.

Trees are a great place anytime but I try to find the trees in the shadiest spots you can find. The longer the tree is shaded the better. If you cant find shaded trees fish the darkest side of a tree. Then there is always night fishing. I am just starting to do this with some success but I do really like the cool night air and the lack of other people. Hope this helps.
