I am not sure about the bigger lakes but the ponds are froze over and with the temp where they have been the should be good. Of course I am a long way from you and a little further north.

I have a friend in Mt. Orab, I taked to him on Sat. and he said his lake had very little ice. But with these temps we're having alot happen in just a few days.
Starting to freeze the other day. I haven't been over since Monday, but I'm sure there is more ice now. Warmer temps next week will hopefully get rid of it. I need to get back out a time or two real soon or I'm gonna lose it. It's only been two weeks since I've been out, and the fever has got me already...

Just heard Buckeye has 4 inches good clear ice
Tim
went out last night, drilled approx 8 hole had 3+" good hard ice and was making more, popping like crazy. it was my first time fishing at night by myself. managed to get 9 nice gills and 1 12" crappie and lost a 14" at the hole! the hole was freezing up every 3-4 minutes, my arm was getting tired from using my skimmer. the fish were in 10 fow. using small tear drops tipped with spikes. plan on fishing all weekend. GOOD LUCK!
I'm in Virginia and wouldn't dream of ice fishing, we get just enough to screw up things, but it sounds like all you need is 3-4 inches?
