    Default Anything in NW Ohio??

I am really getting the itch to catch some slabs lately. I've been to the walleye run a few times but I'm really startin to want to catch some crappie. Has anyone been doing any good in NW Ohio? I am in Findlay and I was just lookin for any kind of water reports for area lakes. Anyone know of surface temps or if anything has been caught?

I haven't been on any of the big lakes around here yet. I'm holding off until I hear some good news. All the lakes are about an hour away from me (Tipp City) and I do not feel like waisting two hours driving until I hear some good news.

I did try the lake at Carriage Hill Tuesday with no luck, and then caught two nice crappies at a friends farm pond. Man, they were nice 10-12 inch crappie, it was just too bad I didn't catch anymore so I'd have enough for a good fish fry. My son also caught about a 24-26 inch channel cat there that he's been bragging about for the past few days.

I can't wait till they start hittin'...

Any updates in NW Ohio? I was at Grand Lake St. Mary's Friday and we caught two crappie in 7 hours or so. The water temps should be gettin up with the weather we had. I'm lookin at tryin up in the Bay next week sometime. I'm hopin the couple cold days this week and some rain won't hurt the bite too bad. Anyone havin any luck?

Care to elaborate anymore on where you were fishing? Were you ice fishing? I've never been but I would like to give it a shot sometime. Especially now that duck and goose season is over for me.
