    Default Crappie fishing in Ohio

Hey guys, hope everyone is having a blessed day and doing good. I live by Deer creek State Park and mainly fish Deer creek, but it’s a flood control lake and the lake is too low to get my boat in by myself. I love fishing Deer creek, and Delaware in the winter and early spring but Delaware like at a massive Fish kill they say that it will take 6 to 8 years to recover. So I was going to try to start winter fishing other lakes wanted to see if anyone could help me out and let me know what lakes you like to fish in the winter and after ice off out of a boat. I was thinking about start trying to fish Caesars Creek but don’t know nothing about that or maybe fishing Hoover or alum Creek. Do they have docs in for the winter. Thank you for any help that you can give me or any direction you can point me in. Merry Christmas and happy new year and may God bless each and everyone of us this season.Crappie fishing in OhioCrappie fishing in Ohio

I like to fish Alum Creek in the Big Rum area. Also up the other side past the Rte 36 bridge. Iffn you want to travel there is Mosquito Lake where another member (Chaunc) frequents with lots of success. Lots of folks also fish CJ broen with success. Hope this helps…
