My brother and me bought a place out there late this fall. I have fished it a few times from my kayak last year, caught a few crappie but a bunch of white bass. I will have access to a dock and have my boat on the lake spring-fall. From what I gather from talking to some friends and people who live on the lake, the crappie fishing can be hit or miss year to year. Anyone fish this lake? Any insight on places to target?
Thanks!
Neither , waiting to see an answer. I'm interested to know myself.
No need to apologize, no offense taken, both lookin for some top secret info. Like you said looks like nobody wants wants to give it up . Looks like we will have to get it ourselves

No doubt. When I was cleaning out the place we bought, I came across an old map of Piedmont that marked where they put in a bunch of trees in for fish attractors. The map is pretty old so most of those trees have probably rotted away by now. I am excited to get the boat on the lake and do some exploring though. A buddy of mine trolls a lot and catches a good amount of saugeye, musky, and white bass, so there is always that I guess if I cant find any crappie. Next time I am out the lake house, I will take a picture of the map and post it on here.
I bought an old beater boat with a 5.5 Johnson (does not run) looking for 9.9 just for lakes with hp restrictions , like Piedmont, Clendening, etc. The 90 on the Tracker is a tad much . Fixin her up now for the spring. That old map might be treasure map .
