Thanks
Paint Creek and Rocky Fork are basically the two I fish.

Give Alum Creek Reservoir a try. I have had recent success jigging brush piles.

East Fork has been very good the last 3 weeks. We have caught our limit (60) 3 times then last Saturday put in at 7:00 never got a bite until 11:00. Ended at 2:00 had 32. A lot of fish at the top of the water gasping air. The lake may be turning over and once we get this 2-4 inches of rain this weekend you won’t be able to fish it for a month.
all fish caught on jigs in 10-24 fow
You live right beside one of the best Crappie lakes in Ohio. Try Snowden. I have really good luck there.
I used to bass fish there years ago. Never knew it was known for crappie.

I fish both rocky fork and paint creek, I can’t imagine going anywhere but paint this time of year unless it’s froze over or up from to much rain.
although I bank fish both, we fish shallow all winter at paint and catch fish

From what I have read, RockyFork has numbers but the size is few and far between. Any truth to the matter or is it like any other lake, you have to know when and where to go?
I get into good Fall bites in the wake-free area of Alum Creek and all over Hoover, with average sizes better in Alum. Fish seem to move in and out of structure/inlets on a daily basis in Alum, following shad I figure. I do all my fishing from kayak.
