    Default lake erie

Does anybody care to share any info on a Lake Erie (Maumee / Toledo) Trip? May make a first trip up with the wife for a few days later this spring, and have no clue where to start. PM if you'd rather.
    Thanks
    Herb

Really fish any of the marinas, but for the first time I would fish West Harbor. There are always good fish in West Harbor and you can always find a place to stay out of the wind if it gets windy. Depending on the time you come up, fish are usually on the rocks or tight dock post. Once you find the pattern, just fish those spots. Fish a jig about 3 ft deep or live minnows as well. If you put in at the public ramp, take a left at the main channel, go down towards the bridge and make another left, those channels usually seem to hold the most fish. Also, the little housing unit directly across from the public ramp is a great place at times as well. I hope this helps.
