Would be nice if the Ohio guys could put one together. Bring them Rebs north for a change.

If you only had these small lakes to fish I bet you would be looking for new waters to fish too. Aren't all those lakes built with FEDERAL MONEY.
I thought the tourist dollars are what kept those local economies alive.

Sheesh hard to believe the mods post this crap.

I was just joking with ya'll ... no disrespect intended & nothing personal. (hence the LOL Smiley) My apologies if anyone took it that way.

I actually fish the smaller lakes in KY more often than I do the 50,000 acre plus size lakes. And yes, we do have a lot of COE lakes, but also a lot of state owned lakes. And you are correct that tourist monies help the local economies ... I donate almost as much to the local economy of an East Tenn community, as I do to all of the Ky communities where I fish (combined).

As I typically fish the Ohio river tribs in my area I'll have to confess that I fish the Ohio side creeks much more than the Kentucky side. In the Meldahl pool most of the creeks on the Kentucky side have silted in badly. Most of the deep water remains on the Ohio side. The season launch pass I buy every year is even on that side of the river.

As far as the camps ,it looks like the KY boys really do it up right. For me I go south for the hospitality ,we can never catch fish like we do here on our local lake ,but
the big fish are in the south.
