Hello boy's,
Don't worry about the spring weather, just adapt to their temperment!!! I fish all over the place for them belly fillen slabs. I'm not that found of the pre-spawn, it is been my expierence they don't feed as much during this time but after they lay their eggs watch out Alice it's dinner time. If you fish during the pre-spawn and a cold front hits......troll the channels and the mouth of coves. I cast, troll, drift, and night fish these good eaten specks and have alot of luck wherever i go. The only place in the Buckeye state i've fished is Eastfork and the ohio river creeks, the crappie run a little small in this state but they sure do taste the same so good luck fishing and never be found wanting.
