    Default First Trip this year


    I finally got on CC yesterday and did better than expected. Caught 45 total but only 15 were keepers. Was in 40 ft water and catching them in 20 ft on minnow and jigs. None the less it was better than being at work.

    When I got there I went through my progression of hot spots and that was the first one I came to that didn't have a least two boats sitting on it. The water temp was around 52 degrees so my thought was that they would be in shallower water but I couldn't get to them. Just a little crowded on a 70 degree. I will be trying again this Sunday I will let you know how it goes.
