Nice report.
Good to see the" lucky bucket" is still around.
With Caesars Creek dried up, we gave Rocky Fork a try. Carmen (my bride) and I was on the lake around 5:45 this morning. I had fished this lake one time last year and a few other times in the long ago past. We found a nice brush pile not far from the North Shore Ramp cove. We caught a few right away and thought "it was on". Then an array of bass boats came through and the bite died. We ventured out to the main lake and found a old road bed. We didn't find any cover (or fish) on it, so the searching began. Heading toward the camp ground direction, we were able to locate a few lay downs off the bank a bit. Each one would give up a few nice fish and then the nursery moved in. The water temp was right near 70-deg and a very light breeze. The traffic was so light (compared to CC) it didn't seem like a holiday weekend. We stayed on the north side of the lake until the breeze picked up. We ventured to the south side and did some looking before we found a decent spot that showed some fish. It turned out to be a good move. We found a Lucky Bucket's Bonanza. The fish were suspending and were putting on the feed bag. Most were female and loaded with eggs. We kept enough for a fish fry tomorrow and left a few for Y-slab to hunt down later. Fish were caught on homemade toys and some on minnows.

thanks- Herb!
y-slabs
We know there are only a few fish in the lake (unlike East Fork (where the fish are plentiful, extra-large and easy to catch)) , so we split them with you.
Prowler- My sources informed me that you were spotted just off the flat and that the lady in the back of the boat was catching them 2 to your 1 if not more and yes you were measuring and keeping
y-slabs
Drifting flats always works great on your lake.
She says that I am the "best Rapala X-Rap presents :: EXTREME NET MEN :: ever". (even better than your "Pajama Pants Man" ... hehe)
