We actually don't fish a ton of cover down there. We have a few spots where there are some trees or brush. Most of the spots are fairly open water areas or areas with stumps.
We have over the years found some "condos" people have sunk but actually in some of the heavier cover areas we seem to catch a ton of dinks.
That's an old pic I used just showing an example of some of the tubes we use. By no means are they the only jigs jig bodies that we use. A great place to buy stuff for your trip is a place call Ken's
    http://www.tradewaterbait.com/
You can spend some serious money in this place. His prices are reasonable and he has live bait. I buy most of my jigs from Nightprowler and most of my plastics from this guy. I use BPS for some fill in stuff around here.

I almost always use the weed less jigs up here but down there we use whatever. Only a few areas require weed less down there.

    DaveBuckeye01, I sent you a PM.

Here's a old pick of some of the tubes we use, of course they're all mounted on Nightprowler's weedless jig heads. I prefer the #2 hooks on the left.

In a way I hate to say what lure works because conditions and the fish change quickly and anything can or can't work at any given time. We usually have 3 or 4 rods rigged at the same time and we switch baits or tactics often.
The inside of my has more jigs and bodies than most full service tackle stores so I'm ready to switch.

Brian, I forgot about those skip jack. They were like mini tarpon. Pretty cool.
Here's one of EF slabs green carp from Ky Lake last year
How do You get nightprowlers jigs? I tried to send Him a message & it said His mail box was full!

I don't think there is anything bad on Ky Lake. I fished it from the Tn line on North to the damn over the years. We've caught fish everywhere.
Do you have reservations? It's going to book up pretty soon.

Nightprowler makes a quality product, but so do many other members on this site. GrouseFly, RonDon, and Litewirehooker all make really good jigs that I've used.

Yep, I've gotten alot from grousefly. Only problem is he takes a LOOOONNNGGGG time to make them and deliver. I've ordered three times from him, never less than a thousand, and it's always been at least 12 weeks. Good product, but you gotta be patient. If you do order, make sure you understand the ETA.

I've got Nightprowlers phone, PM me and I'll get it to you.
