    Nice article. Didn't know LM bass could be eaten 2x per week. I thought LMs were supposed to not taste good. I'm still search for a restaurant that serves crappie burgers!

    Pops said he caught 6 crappies in about 30 minutes of fishing Saturday night and Sunday morning. 4 of them were keepers and we've started counting the dorsal fin splines. 4 of them were whites but couldn't tell from the markings....... I was told by a local bait shop that maybe 3% of the crappie population included white. Perhaps some hybrids in there?????

    They do cross on spawn but in low numbers on hatch rate.
