    Default Harrison State Park


    Got out with the old man from 3-630 & managed 15 fish.Alot of lil ones but did get into sum descent fish.Pretty much zig zagged the same area the entire time.We were fishing in 6-7fow fish were caught between 3-4ft on jigs tipped with shiners.Overall had fun got out the house.

    Back to Harrison yesterday evening pretty much the same setup.Left the old man & took my son we had a ball.Again alot of lil ones at first so i got a lil deeper and starting getting bigger fish.We got 20 yesterday from 430-8 first time nite fishing on the ice.Once dark they slowed down still was catching but way slower.When i figure out how to post pics i will.

    Nice. Don't believe I've ever caught a crappie through the ice. Bluegills, bass, even a catfish or 3, but never a crappie.

    good job crappietalker, I had ice gear ready for farm ponds and some lakes but like last winter the ice was to thin.

    The ice was 6''where i was fishing some places of the lake had open water.Wont be to much longer now im so ready.
