Thread: Anybody been out?

Better go to MS then.

Had some work done on the boat so I took the it out last Sat for a few hours. Efslabs showed up so we fished a few hours and caught a few fish. Just enough to keep the skunk away. I've got to say it was pretty miserable out there.
I launched at Afton and was the only boat there. I saw a park ranger and he said I was the only boat anywhere.
EFslabs is nuts...he went back out Sunday for a little bit too. Same thing, caught a few.
I may go again Sunday for a bit, don't know yet.

We ran the HDS for a little bit and I believe we saw the largest comcentration of fish I've ever seen. Of course we didn't catch any of those fish. I wish I would have taken a pic it was amazing.

Havent been but talked to a fellow fisherman today that went yesterday and said he caught 9 fish in 4 hours...... Must be pretty tough...... I have a really tough time catching fish (at good numbers) when h20 temps get into the 30s. Seems like 40 degree water temp i can get them pretty good but 37-38 its just tough and that is what the temps are at EF right now. Thats also what river temp is now..................

Tourney this weekend may be tough but Im gonna fish this one so hope to see some of you there.
